Lithium-air battery has received considerable attention in recent times due to its high theoretic specific energy with
around 12 kWh/kg which is comparable with that of gasoline (~13kWh/kg). Noble-metal catalysts used in this kind of
battery were putting in good performance but hindered by their scarcity and high cost. Therefore, earth-abundant metals
are favored nowadays to enhance oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER). Our interest is mainly
focused on developing ORR and OER catalysts using transition-metals in neutral and alkaline aqueous electrolyte.
